Cuban Course Syllabus (Programa de Estudios): obtaining and legalization

We obtain, legalize and send the detailed course syllabi for your Cuban degree for recognition and international equivalency processes.

01

The detailed record of your academic training in Cuba

The course syllabus, or programa analítico, is the most complete teaching document of your education. Unlike the course content summary, it sets out each course you took in full detail, specifying:

This is the document that actually allows education ministries, professional bodies and credential evaluation agencies abroad to confirm that your studies in Cuba meet the technical rigour and content required in the destination country.

02

When do you need the course syllabus?

03

Straightforward, end-to-end handling

Because this document can run to hundreds of printed pages, requesting, binding and validating it at Cuban university registrars takes patient work in person. At Cuba Legal Services we take that burden on for you:

  1. 01
    Retrieval from the University

We request and compile the official syllabi, signed and stamped by the relevant dean or rector in Cuba.

  2. 02
    Legalization at MINJUS

We certify the authenticity of the academic authorities' signatures at the Ministry of Justice.

  3. 03
    Consular Route or Apostille

We present the volume at the embassies and consulates accredited in Cuba for the country where you will submit your file.

  4. 04
    Packaging and Secure International Delivery

Given its bulk, we pack it in heavy-duty envelopes or boxes so it arrives in perfect condition by express courier (DHL / Correos Express), straight to your home.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the Plan Temático and the Programa de Estudios?+

The Plan Temático is a structured summary showing the curriculum map, with the courses and their teaching hours. The Programa de Estudios is the full development of each course, detailing what was actually studied in class. Many agencies and recognition bodies require both so they can be cross-checked.

Can it be sent directly in a sealed envelope to agencies such as WES?+

Yes. If the foreign body, such as WES or an equivalent, requires the syllabi to arrive in an envelope properly sealed, signed and closed by the issuing university in Cuba, we coordinate the institutional packaging and arrange international delivery to those strict standards.

Why these files get rejected

Credential evaluation agencies apply strict, inflexible criteria: a sealed envelope sent directly by the issuing institution, a complete file with nothing left out, and a translation faithful to the original document. A single broken link in that chain — an opened envelope, incomplete course content, a course misread in translation — is enough for the file to be rejected or evaluated downward. And redoing it almost always means starting again in Cuba.
