We locate your baptism record at the relevant Cuban parish, have it legalized by the Archdiocese and through the consular route, and send it to you anywhere in the world.
It is the official church document issued by the parish where you were baptized in Cuba. It records the date of baptism, the names of the parents and godparents, and the sacramental register and page details.
It is essential for nationality or citizenship files (such as the Democratic Memory Law, known as the "Grandchildren's Law", at the Spanish Consulate), for proving parentage, or for marrying in the Church.
Important legal note: church certificates neither require nor accept legalization by the Ministry of Justice (MINJUS), because they are not state civil registry records. Their official authenticity is confirmed solely by the archdiocese or diocese and then by the consular office of the country where the document will be submitted.
These documents are not issued by the state but by the parish or diocese that holds the entry, and every archive works to its own timescales and in its own way. Finding the right register is half the job, especially when a parish has changed its name or its records have been moved. And if the certificate is going to be used outside Cuba, it then needs whatever legalization the destination country requires: without that, it only carries weight within the Church.
